Biography

Heidi Jost von Bergen graduated from Bennington College with a major in painting & sculpture. Color field painters like Jules Olitski, her teacher, influenced her paintings.  
She experimented with the movement of paint on raw cotton canvas-staining-and later with large, abstract gestural shapes. 

Heidi lives in Clinton, NY.
